MA in International Tourism Management and Development. My master’s thesis, entitled ‘Measuring Social Capital? A Case study from the Red de Turismo Campesino’, explores the concept of social capital focusing on the case study of a community-based tourism enterprise in the Calchaquí Valley (Argentina).
I currently work as Sales and Product Manager at Infinity Tours, an outbound tour operator based in London, specializing in Latin American tourism destinations.
I also volunteer for Lata Foundation, as a project team member, carrying out project management activities throughout Latin America.
My research interests are: sustainable tourism development, community-based tourism, gender issues, heritage management, and environmental conservation.

My qualifications, together with my working experience and Latin American background have led me to believe passionately in the principles of a more sustainable tourism. In light of this, it is therefore necessary to promoting and enabling gender equality and women’s empowerment in tourism matters. I am interested ito get in contact with people who operate in this field of tourism to share experiences, knowledge and ideas.
